Professional Cook-Off

Four professional finalists will win an expense paid trip to New York City where they’ll compete for a panel of judges on October 26th, 2007 in a cook-off at the prestigious International Culinary Center to determine the first through fourth place winners. 

Professionals Compete for these Cash Prizes

  • Professional First Prize: Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000)
  • Professional Second Prize: Twenty Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500)
  • Professional Third Prize: Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500)
  • Professional Fourth Prize: One Thousand Dollars ($1,000)

Student Recipes

Student recipes will be evaluated by the culinary team at COPIA: the American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts in Napa, California.  Top student recipes will be prepared by the chefs at the International Culinary Center in New York and ruled on by the judging panel during the professional cook-off at the ICC in on October 26, 2007.

Student Cash Prizes

  • Student First Prize: One Thousand Dollars ($1,000)
  • Student Second Prize: Seven Hundred Dollars ($700)
  • Student Third Prize: Five Hundred Dollars ($500)

All Winners (Professional and Student) will also receive:

  • Spanish products from Source Atlantique
  • A $75 one year membership to COPIA: the American Center for Food and Wine, located in Napa, California

For All Prizes: One prize per person. No cash equivalent for the prizes, prizes are non transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Administrator's sole discretion. Administrator reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.
