Contest DetailsBrief OverviewRecipes must contain two or more of the specified authentic ingredients from Spain (olive oil, cheese, jamón serrano, olives, pimentón, piquillo peppers, saffron, sherry wine vinegar).
Who May Enter/EligibilityThe Tapas from Coast to Coast Recipe Contest is for Professional Chefs and Culinary Students. The "Promotion/Contest" is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old as of June 1, 2007. Entrants must be culinary professionals (this only includes teachers of culinary arts, professional chefs, pastry chefs, sous chefs, or lead line cooks at restaurants and other commercial foodservice establishments, professional caterers and professional recipe developers) and culinary students (individuals who are currently enrolled as full time student in a culinary school). When to EnterThe Promotion begins on June 1, 2007 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time ("EDT") and ends on August 31, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. EDT (the "Promotion Period"). Administrator's computer is the official time keeping device for this Promotion. Submissions will not be accepted after this time. How to EnterDuring the Promotion Period, fill out the online entry form and submit a simple, delicious tapas recipe that prominently features two or more of the required ingredients. Submissions will only be accepted via this Web site and must be in English. Judging CriteriaRecipes will be judged using these criteria:

Award NotificationProfessional Cook-Off Finalists will be notified by phone, email or mail on or after September 25, 2007, and posted on this Web site on or after October 2, 2007. A complete list of Professional and Student winners and the prizes awarded will be available on this web site on or after November 1, 2007. Cash and Sponsor prizes will be distributed on or before December 15th, 2007.
