All tapas recipes submitted (savory or sweet) featured two or more of these authentic ingredients from Spain:

Olive Oil

Olives

Cheeses

Jamón Serrano

Piquillo Peppers

Pimentón

Saffron

Sherry Wine Vinegar

Top recipes were presented at COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts in Napa, California, in September.

Four professional finalists won an expense-paid trip to New York in October for a cook-off at the prestigious International Culinary Center.

Winners received prize packages and cash awards between $5,000 and $500.
